Acquittal for Luc Chignell defending s.18 at Derby Crown Court

The case concerned a Defendant accused of stabbing a man who was staying in her home and the issue was self-defence. Following a successful non-Defendant bad character application, the Jury heard the extent of the man’s involvement with drug dealing and acquitted the Defendant within an hour.
