Cohen Barley, defended by Mr Varley and prosecuted by Mr Short, stabbed two men through a car window, proceeded to flee the scene and actively attempted to evade police by moving between addresses and staying in hotels under different names.

Following the trial at Leicester Crown Court, DC Amy Aplin, officer in the case, said: “Thanks to the strength of the evidence and the accounts provided by the victims and witnesses, Barley has now been found guilty and is facing the consequences of this violent attack.”
