Miss Thandi appeared at the Court of Appeal Criminal Division in an appeal against a sentence where the a Derbyshire Police Officer had used AI to manufactured the victim personal statement in order to get the court to increase the sentence.
This case has once again highlighted the risks and dangers posed by AI and the use of AI in criminal proceedings.
