The victim who had significant mobility issues suffered serious injuries. A few months prior to the incident, the victim and defendant fell out over money owed to the victim. On the day of the incident, the defendant saw the defendant in a smoking area and drove his mobility scooter to the area in the hope of fixing their 17 year friendship. The defendant argued self-defence.
The judge praised Anthony for his cross examination with a difficult defendant. The jury returned a guilty verdict.
