James Varley, instructed by Derbyshire CPS, appeared for the prosecution in the case of a male described as "Derby's worst Rapist".
The male was sentence to an extended sentence with a minimum term of 13 and-a-half years custody with an extended licence of a further 7 years.

Cohen Barley, defended by Mr Varley and prosecuted by Mr Short, stabbed two men through a car window, proceeded to flee the scene and actively attempted to evade police by moving between addresses and staying in hotels under different names.
